Wondering if some can tell me what brand and place to get a proper set of outer window felts. This is my 2nd set I have tried and they are junk. They are made by repops. First set I got I believe was made my repos as well. When I ordered the 2nd set I thought I made sure they were not made by them but that's what I got. I have tried to modify the holes in the window felt so that the rubber sits properly on the chrome but parts of the rubber don't fit snug against it and at the back where it curves up it's wrinkled. My car has the chrome strip at top of door that goes right to the fender. I have even thought of taking that off and getting the ones that have the chrome bead in it if that makes a difference but don't know how that would look. This is driving me F'ing crazy. I have added a few pictures of what mine looks like.

Went to GM dealer today and was told they are discontinued and unavailable. I really want to get this sorted.

That is pretty pathetic. Why would anyone put that product on the market when it looks like that is beyond me. What do they say, “it’s good enough”. Someone there needs to get kicked in the nuts to wake up.

I bought mine from GM in 1985 and they still look new.

I agree. When they are making these things they either don't check quality because they don't care. Or they do check them and say good enough. Either way they don't give a F.

Did the dealer give you part numbers for the parts?

No. I could go back and ask but don't know if that will help?
