Recovering from total knee replacement surgery again

    I refuse to go there... about 6 hacks on my left knee and 2 on the right......learned running is not for humans.... I only have to run about 20 ft...to my pistol ;)
    hope they set the toe in correct!!! camber will scrub in..

    That's a big scar man. I guess they have to lay it all open. For the rod in my femur I just got two three inch scars. I hope it doesn't hurt as much as it looks like it should :)

    There's 68 staples to close the Surgical site , normal knee replacement scar is midline ( down the center) . Mine had to be in this location because of an old ACL repair in 1982 . This side of the knee has alot blood flow from veins located there

    If they would have done a normal midline incision the skin would die from lack of blood flow

    A Marine friend of mine said that scar would make for an awesome tattoo !!!!! .he said a Tatto with a K bar knife with blood dripping and the words " pain is weakness leaving the body " would be awesome

    Guy I know had open heart, scar right down the center. He had a tat of a zipper put over it. His dr. flipped $hit.

    I hope the recovery goes well for you. My wife has an artificial knee in both legs, the recovery was hard for her.

    Just got back from PT where I'm now pulling to 97┬░ and 0┬░extension

    Reached another goal today , just went 1.5 miles on a recumbent bike !!!!! . That took almost all my energy and and I'm drained but happy what I accomplished

    Got a question on the "re-shimming" did they replace the Delrin Pads or was or leg not aligned correctly?
