Thought its about time I started a build thread for my ride. Bought the car a few years back as a stock 305 car from a buddy. Since it has got a 10 point cage, 9" rear all strange hardware with a spool and 3.55 gears, Caltracs, turbo 400 with a transbrake. Basically worthy of supporting a healthy motor setup. It has sat quite a bit over the last year but I have really ramped up getting it back together now. The motor is a 468 4 bolt block, factory steel crank, good set of rods and forged flat tops. The heads are a set of opened up 049's. Turbo solid roller cam i bought off a member from another forum. The turbo is an garrett tv8403. It Will be fuel injected with a megasquirt setup and will run on e85. I finished fabbing up the headers this weekend and im waiting on parts to finish up the cold and hot side. Ill post more pictures as I move along with it....

Looks good but a little worried about the small radiator, if any street driving is in the mix your gonna have issues.

Ya I know, I'm gonna route all the other piping so that if need be ill buy another afco with the outlets just the opposite and re-route the downpipe and mount it on the other side of the turbo.

Very nice. When you ordered your caltrac springs what ride height did you go with? Stock or what? Also what size rear tire? Thanks!

Ya I'm a little worried about it. It's probably more than likely that its gonna have cooling issues so I have been fabbing everything up so that all I'd have to do is re-route the down pipe and ill put an identical afco on the other side of the turbo and have a twin radiator setup....

Made a little more progress tonight

Gonna put this in as a muffler, maybe it'll take the edge off. It's a flowmaster outlaw series muffler
