Shoud I buy this L94 engine?????

    The LS7 is only a 4 bolt head, so it cant be all that bad. Even the 640 horse LS9 uses a 4 bolt head.

    I'm sure that when GM put 6-bolts on their aftermarket stuff, they knew what people were going to do with it: 700-1500 hp. Seems to me that 4 bolts and good head gaskets will more than support the kind of hp I'm looking to make.

    The 6 bolt non-oem stuff is meant for people who want to run a poo ton of boost or nitrous

    I believe ERL has pushed over 30 pounds of boost through their builds with no issues. Head studs or not, don't see that happening with 4 bolt heads.

    A touch off topic for the OP's original questions though lol

    4 Bolt heads and good gaskets will get you well past where you want to be

    Even the C5R block is still only a 4 bolt head and they say this block supports over 900 horse. The 6 bolt heads are really only for lots of boost/maximum horsepower
