    Located in Australia.

I bought my fist Camaro 22yrs ago, it was an 80 RS, decided this is the car I like, that car is now long gone.

Bought my second and current Camaro 13 years ago 78 lt. Drove it for 9 odd years until the rust was getting too bad and then I took it off the road.

Time to get her rebuilt. I actually started a little while back, but now it’s time to get serious

This was the area of rust that got the project started.

Every time I went driving my feet got wet, turned out to be silver tape painted black through the whole area.

The rust continued visually down into the side cowls, so that meant front end sheet metal and doors had to come off

The inner cowl wasn’t compleltey Replaced, it was cut and joined with a fresh panel from classic industries shipped to Australia, shipping costs more than the part, go figure

New dash panel and side cowls were fitted

I do my own rust work and welding, but thought I would pay someone to put this part on for me, I got a bill for 3200 dollars, so I think I will be doing the rest

Moving forward, the radiator support panel was rotted, since the part can be purchased new, I’m not going to even attempt to fix this 157066B0-94FB-4DE7-877C-5A704A78D5E0.jpeg
