    So,

With my 78 Camaro being an absolute rust bucket, refer my signature below, I have been keeping an eye out for another one, the 78 is now going to become a dad and son project (he’s 18 and an apprentice mechanic with local workshop), he wants modern engine, modern interior, modern suspension with old school satin back sleeper look.

After a year of searching and negotiating with different people, finally bought another one today, complelty rust free, I mean not a drop of rust in all the typical spots and still totally original exterior and interior, cost me a pretty penny, but that is becuase the seller and I both new how much work is involved getting them rust free to start with. From what I understand it’s been undercover and not on the road for a long time

    So easy / fun resto...

since you said it had electric windows, and upgraded suspension, I think you may have a berlinetta z28. Does it also have electric rear window defroster?

Being a right hand drive vehicle it’s hard to know what was retained from original 40 yrs ago, I just checked the rear window and nothing indicates it’s got a defroster back there, no lines or power, but again an unknown.

Bummer I couldn’t get more info from the tag, what I did get was the tag saids no t tops, but it has t tops :)

Ha ha, much to his disappointment his and my project is the rust bucket one in my signature, not this one.

For his car, we are now hunting an Ls3 with T56 for it, it’s going to be what I’m calling a new school resto

This car if it needs to be restored for rust will have to wait until my other camaro leaves my shed.

Pulling the carpet up today to replace it and start doing interior refurbishing and having a look at the floors. I want to be able to drive it at the end of every day, so resto work is very limited, do not want another project car yet.

40yrs of dust, looks pretty original underneath the back seat
