Speaking of cowls

    What was the purpose of the two holes (one on each side) with the rubber plugs? I noticed the replacement cowl eliminates these holes.

    Couldve been for drainage from the epoxy dip.

    Mine weren't actually plugs but more like rubber grommets with a hole in it...I didn't bother putting them back when I installed my new cowl

    I agree, there are drain holes all over the car. Part of the body prep process.
