steering column bearings

    How did that bearing fit in the plastic retainer, did it spin or did it fit tight?

    I got mine at the Chevy dealer. Bet you can too

    Chevy still had them a few years ago and I bought some-but the column I had did not use the actual bearing more a bushing.

    It spun. The new plastic housing was to big. I just reused the original.

    How long ago did you pick it up? Do you happen to have a PN?

    That’s what I figured. I was afraid of trying to remove my old bearing for fear of breaking the plastic housing.

    I used the new bearing with the old housing.

    It was several years ago, sorry no part # Just tell them you have a till wheel from 75 they should be able to find it easy enough

    I just repacked it. Talked to a column repair shop and they said the upper bearing isn’t serviceable.
