Is it possible to suck trans fluid into the intake from the vacuum modulator if it goes bad on a 350 A/T
Yep thats the shadetree way of knowing if the vac mod is bad. Just about everytime one goes bad it will let ATF go through it, into the in and most of the times makes it way into the intake, and cause the engine to smoke some
It will make brown or white smoke and will usually only come out the right tailpipe (most factory sbc have the modulator into the #8 intake runner port). Pull off the vacuum hose and see if theres any oil in it. If in doubt, replace the modulator as they are cheap and easy. ------------------ Currently Camaroless {edit} trying to fix my poor grammar.
