Does anyone know if a Firebird hood will fit a Camaro? I saw a really sweet setup on a 73 T/A that I would like to replicate if I can, but I'd have to use a Firebird hood with the scoop hole to do it. Thanks.

Could you cut a shaker opening in a Camaro hood to do the modification you want? The body lines are different even if the hood would physically fit.

I have a 77 TA hood and shaker set up in storage if you need some measurements, if that year helps at all.

Thanks everyone. I took another look at a Firebird hood in the fresh light of day and it's pretty obvious that it would be a lot more sheet metal work than I really want to get into. The fender lines are different and it has a peak down the middle. I'd be better off just cutting a Camaro hood, but that's what I was trying to avoid in the first place. Ah well, going to Emerald Coast Cruzin today. Maybe I'll get some new inspiration there. Thanks again.
