    I would like to go backpacking again but my Ortho doctor strongly suggests that I don't because it would destroy my knee replacement

    It's what we do here in eastern Oregon. We are big hunters
    last yr 2015, headed back to the same spot this yr for Mule Deer and a different spot for Elk.

    All fabulous pictures. I wish my wife enjoyed outdoor events. I took her camping once when we were dating and it was not her cup of tea.

    I miss the kx500 ! In the Vancouver area it snowed maybe twice this year or so. Up towards the interior and whistler/pemberton area is supposed to be good, I've been meaning to sled but have never gone !

    Does hiking from Hohenschwangau (castle where our daughter and grandson are standing) to Newschwanstein (castle in the distance) qualify as
    the great outdoors)?
