I went in to the restoration shop where my car is (upstate NY). I notice a brand new Nissan Z 370. Its being torn completely apart. I ask the guy who's working on it "what's up?" A mid 20s guy owns the car and he wants it turned into a drag car. He wants a high 6 - low 7 second car. I just couldn't believe it. The car is new!

    Money talks, B/S walks. Unbelievable!

Wow! Must be nice to have that kind of cash. Wonder if it was earned or inherited?

    Luckily it's not your money.

One could argue all race cars are wasted money. Or old camaros. i don't begrudge anyone spending their hard earned money on what they want, even if i doubt get it.

yeah love these comments. "must be nice" and "waste of money" I may not always agree with what someone is doing, but I have no room to judge, my buying and spending habits look insane to some, but I have worked hard to be able to do what we do

High 6, low 7 370Z? Just the motor, if he stays Nissan, is going to be big money. GTR engine transplant?
Can you get those numbers without doing a full tube chassis? Should be a $200,000+ car when they are done.
Looks like that shop is going to make some good $$$!

If I had money to burn, I would do an insane rotary in an RX-3. Completely uncontrollable, loud, violent animal on the track. I could race his 370Z!
