    Wow, just wow!

To be able to see a full, total, complete eclipse in the US is incredible!

There are several sites with info on where it will be. If you can see it, you really should. Most of us here have only seen partials. A full eclipse is breathtaking, and one over the US is a rarity.

I am going to hope the weather is good in South Carolina on that Monday and try to see it there.

Anybody near St. James-Santee Elementary School at 8900 US-17, McClellanville, SC 29458?

It would be nice to have someplace to sit with folks to watch it.

My possible secondary place, should I get the Charleston Joint Base Lodging, will be at the Bethera Country Store in Bethera, SC.

My luck says that it will be heavy overcast and raining that day so I won't even notice.

I'll have a pretty good seat for the show where I am. I usually work all over the Northeast section of GA.

Im planning on watching it on Lake Murray "on the Pontoon" out in the middle of the lake! Anyone want to join me? My wife could care less...it would take an event like Jesus coming back riding down on a cloud to peek her interest LMAO!

Nice Cuban Stogie and some rare Bourbon should be appropriate.

I think the last big one in SC was when I was in like 7th or 9th grade in '77 or '79 I remember it got pretty much completely dark outside for about 10 minutes during school.

That will be a great place to watch it. Try to convince your wife that it WILL be like Jesus coming back!

The last total eclipse like this across the US was in 1918, so many people have never seen one. The one in 1970 just brushed the US east coast, so it wasn't as 'powerful' as the one this August will be.

Y'all should really try to see it!

Have a hotel reservation in Henderson Ky. Supposedly one of the best spots for viewing. Weather permitting of course. Lol
