I have a 1968 Corvette convertible with a small block and a Muncie 4 speed that I am thinking of trading for a 67-73 Camaro. The reason that I am wanting to trade is because I can't take my wife and son anywhere in it because it only has 2 seats. The engine isn't the original 327, but it is a 327c.i. 350hp engine out of a 68 Corvette. No idea where the original engine is. The car runs and drives great, I drive it at least twice every week. Speedo reads just over 78,000 miles. I have a clean and clear title in hand. It is currently painted yellow, but I’m not sure on the exact paint code. I had it parked next to a yellow 72 Corvette and they looked very close. The interior is tan, and is all new, including the door panels, dash pad, dash panels and seats. The convertible top is also new, and fits great. Manual brakes and steering. I also have the original hard top as well. I was told the engine was rebuilt 5,000 miles ago 2-owners ago. I don't have any documentation to support this, but the engine runs very strong and doesn't smoke. The chrome bumpers are new, but the chrome work on one of the rears isn't the best. Issues with the car: horn doesn't work, temp gauge inop, speedo inop, wiper door doesn’t open (but I have a new wiper motor and actuator), stereo isn't wired properly, no clue if it works. It needs a little fiberglass work on the interior, but its something that doesn't really bother me. The only other thing that really bothers me is that there is a slight bow in the hood. It looks like someone took off the hood and it was laying on a 4x4 or something and got slightly warped. These are all issues that I know I need to fix, but the car drives and sounds so good that I haven't bothered. If you have any other questions about the car send me a PM. The sidepipes wouldn't be included. This shows how it looks with the rear exit exhaust, but this picture has the old bumpers in it.
