The speedometer gear may be off.
Nope, it has nothing to do with the drive shaft. You are going to have to change the speedometer gears in the transmission. This happens anytime you change the gear ratio in the rear end.
You need the correct speedometer gear. I don't remember which one it is, but they are plastic and color coded. They are not difficult to change either.
Yeah, thought I covered all my bases, feelin kinda dumb for missin this one! But, now I gotta figure out which gears I need. Anyone have experience with correcting a speedo after putting in a 3.73?
