Thank you. Too much work for me.
Proper documentation is the ONLY way to validate a true Z28 equipped car. Everything else is readily available to accurately clone one...even the trim tag. However one with proper documentation is $$$$$
I enjoy my plane Jane cheap version model. It will out perform any factory 70-71 Z28 by a long shot and I will be cool with my AC blowing.
i know on 71 the vin is stamped in the cowl behind the heater box(would have to remove) that's how i confirmed my dash number as far as trim tag i do believe its original, doubt any one was trying to fake a 6 cyl. glide manual steer man. brake no ac 308 rear car lol be careful in your search
Here is a picture of my VIN number on the firewall after my heater box was removed on my 71
I have a interesting mis stamping on my camaro. The last 6 digits are correct matching the vin. But for the year made, it has a 9 instead of a 0.
2nd one is how i will put back on,i think it will contrast nicely with body color
not quite sure what the number 8 in top left hand corner is about?
I would send it back to them and tell them to do it over, for the 300 bucks these places want for these , they should do it correct, or tell you that they put a little number on it ,to let everyone know it's a repop
I believe I see that same 8 on the original.
