I can’t seem to find the post with the best trunk seal. Was it the metro or the 3020 Soff Seal?

    MetroMold is better than SoffSeal

That’s what I have. The seal is solid core, and my trunk lid is hard to close and it’s pushes the deck lid up. It’s noticeably thicker than what I had (unknown)

    Forget the "Trunk Seal".

    Get a "Trunk Monkey"! ;)

I think I used whatever OER sells and didn't have a problem with the trunk closing.
It's tight but it doesn't need to be slammed to close it.
(Replaced it 25 years ago so I'm not sure what brand I bought.)

Metro looks best, but I had the same problem as you...trunk lid stuck up too high. Soffseal worked best for me for trunk.

Used a complete Metro weather seal kit that included the trunk. The fit was good once I got it going. Lid shuts nicely and doesn't stick up at all. All three pieces on the rear spoiler line up flush.
