If you are running NA then don't bother with the reference line. If you are running boost then use the reference line but be sure to take that into account when setting up your injector flow rates.
My Injector Dynamics ID1000 injectors have data for both set ups. I feel the boost referenced way is safer and maybe initially easier. I spoke to quite a few tuners about it and this was the general feeling about that.

Do you have any clue what it takes to put 1600 to the wheels? Obviously not... For the boost level he is running, and on a Mustang dyno, that is about right if he has the timing pulled back.

I would put a meth kit on it so you can get the timing it needs in there... guarantee that would pick you up a bunch.

those are very good numbers with that timing and boost. in my opinion tune without meth and then use the meth as back up. i've seen/heard of horror stories of a meth kit failing or running out. But of course it depends how you use the car.

    Video from the road course.

It's only 1 lap, not a fast lap, but cool anyway. The speedometer is in MPH, at 12 o'clock is 80mph and the fastest it reads in this lap (at the end on the front straight) is 120mph.
I was driving cautiously as it was a kind of shakedown day for the car. The Saleen guy came up to me in the pits later, looked under the hood, then looked at me and said "Oh..." (that explains it). His car 'was' the fast car there...

DAMN, thats funny. I bet right then, everything you've been through on the build was worth it and then some.

I know it's been said only a few dozen times, but thats a sweet car.

That video is funny. Cat playing with a mouse kind of deal. Reminds me of playing Forza or Gran Turismo and using a car three or four classes higher than those you're racing.
