I had bought one of those under the tailgate light bar for my truck a couple of years back from JC Whitney.

The damn thing came to my local post office, then to Milwaukee before it came back to be delivered.

A former customer of mine once mailed some blueprints to me for a construction bid. We're in the same county in Virginia, and I could have driven to their office in less than 30 minutes to picked it up.

They air mailed it, it went to Atlanta then back to Virginia

I'm not sure what happened, but they're no longer in business.........

That was an error. Many next day air never makes it to the plane. The package would go to the local DC, sort and either set up for delivery or sent (driven) to the DC closest to the delivery location.

I mailed a package to a member in Ohio via priority mail on Saturday morning and he received it by noon my time today. Not bad IMO.

The big post office in my area had a couple workers busted for theft a couple years ago. Lots of people were complaining about missing mail and packages and it even got reported on by a local news crew. People are still complaining about mail disappearing.

There have been several similar incidents on the news in the past couple years.
