If it's a race I'm watching...you name it...
F1 is the pinnacle, hands down.
I have tickets for all 3 days when they come here in 2 weeks. Going to be lots of fun!
My thoughts in a nut shell!!!!
I'm jealous! It's going to be a great event. Are the V-8 Supercars racing both days (Saturday and Sunday), with two races per day? I like their format because the races are essentially 35 lap heat races and nobody is sandbagging.
While that may be true "worldwide", it's just like saying that soccer is the most popular sport worldwide.
Here in the USA, F1 and soccer are not nearly as popular as NASCAR and Football. Both of them are like watching paint dry - to most Americans.
I've been to the Grand Prix of Germany at the original Nurburgring. One of the most boring races I have ever attended. The dirt track races I attended while stationed in Germany were much more interesting and fun to watch.
I agree. The hype over Danica is nauseating.
I disagree. Even back in the 50's NASCAR didn't have real headlights. They stopped using real bumpers decades ago.
The COT and the Gen 6 cars are very different.
here's a V8 supercars vs nascar comparison .. http://www.speedcafe.com/2013/04/24/nascar-v8-supercar-comparision/
That's cool, like how they did that.
the cars look pretty close in size huh ???
Frontal area yes, gets a little different down the back. More aero down force for nascar I guess.
