VA EZ clamps help?

    Do these pinch or just clamp with the clasp? They do not look like traditional pinch clamps I’m used to. I planned to use normal pinch clamp pliers, but the VA clamps look different. Help please.

    I'm assuming you are talking about the hoses getting crimped onto the fittings? If so on my VA air system I measured and cut and marked the positioning on the hoses and fittings and took them down to a local business that deals with automotive air conditioning and they crimped them on professionally for I think $5 dollars a hose. Otherwise due to the pressures you need a special tool.

    ^ negative, I have the tool for traditional crimps. These are EZ fittings

    I bought the va pliers specifically for the ez clip system...sadly I have not used them yet. Good luck.
