just received my fuel pump tray from Vette Works. I’m installing it into a 1970 Camaro stock fuel tank. I’ve used their kits in the past and loved em. Has anyone used this recessed 5th gen Camaro pump tray from Vette Works yet? I’ll post pics of the install as I go.

Got the tray and pump installed.
Going to use “seal all” fuel tank sealant all around the perimeter where we welded to ensure there are no leaks. More pics soon.

How much does a set-up cost? Honestly the last few builds have been complete new SS tanks from Ricks. About $1300 a pop, but with corner pick-ups and set up for a tube float fuel level sender.

I have it retrofitted to a ricks tank on an ‘80 Trans Am. Works great. IIRC Believe you need to change the regulator on the 5th gen fuel module, think I used a part from VaporWorx and a 4th gen fbody regulator. Vetteworks does it differently and uses a European vehicle regulator which can be found much cheaper on rockauto.

Yes you will need to swap the pressure relief valve in the pump

So far I have about 50 miles on this setup runs great. I need a vented cap or someway to vent fuel tank press out. When I remove the cap there is alot of pressure built up .

Update here - I have a small leak somewhere around the pump. Can’t tell if it’s coming from under the pump or the seam where we welded.
All I know is Ricks restomod tank looking pretty good right now at $400........since I already have the pump.
