    Hello everyone first post
I am building a 70 Firebird currently and looking for a 12 bolt rear that will bolt in and play.
I do not care about matching numbers! or if it has a Posi or not I just need a fairly complete 12 Bolt that will bolt in to original leaf springs with original drum brakes. I Don't care if its greasy I don't care if it leaks! I don't care if its just a bare housing! although complete with axles and brakes is a big plus!

Just something that will bolt in and bolt up I can throw a Carrier in it and gears at a latter date.

I am in Pahrump Nv willing to drive a fair distance to pick it up.

Those rear ends are a one year only rear end. They were used on '70 Firebirds and '70 Camaros only so there aren't a lot of them in existence. A bit of patience should find you one.

I am hopping to find one, I am no realy hurry and I really don't wanna spend 2500+ for a custom built one.
I have seen a few used ones advertised in about the same price range as a new custom built unit, if I have to spend nearly 2 grand for it I would buy a new custom built one from Mosor.

Seriously though I thought they fit other models and years? if 70 is one year only for Camero and Firebird set up I may have to go the custom built rout.

If you don’t care about matching #s, spend the money on a Moser. You think it’s expensive now, but buy your $1500 12 bolt and pay to rebuild it, you have $2500 into it and it won’t be as good as a Moser

By "one year only", I meant that they were made only in 1970 and available only on 1970 model cars. But, they will fit any 1970-81 Camaro or Firebird.

And in 70 they were only available in the Z28 and SS cars. All other models had the 10 bolt. So it will be very hard to find one.
