Wanted Early axle bump stop and bracket

    I am in need of one early style 1972 rear axle bump stop and bracket. Sample picture below. I am missing 1.

    Yes they bolt on in the wheel wells. They changed bolt patters somewhere in the mid 70's for some stupid reason, probably the same time they changed the bolt pattern for the front wheel well support brackets, frickin GM engineers, what the hell good reason is there for changing a bolt pattern on a part that looks just like the old part????

    I was talking about the rubber part.. The newer ones are secured with a nut.

    Yes the bumper bolts to the bracket. The first versions had a bumper that pressed into a slot inthe bracket. Im not sure exacty when they went to a bolt on bumper but mine is an original 72 and the bumper is bolt on. I need a old style early bracket with the bolt on bumper.
