    Wanted:

I am looking for an original 1971 Z28 4spd 010 Casting Block. Looking for late July or August 1970 casting date with an August assembly date CGP suffix code block out of a Norwood built Z28.

I say Norwood car because very early 1971 Norwood camaros had there Vin# stamp in the blocks rough casting down by the oil filter. Later 1971 Norwood built Camaros and all Van Nuys had there VIN# on the front pad.

I need a 010 block with just a assembly date and CGP suffix code on the front pad.

If your interested, I have a complete 1971 Z28 drivetrain (engine, M20 Muncie and 3:73 10 bolt posi rear axle) for sale. The engine is a long block with a casting date of G230, and the pad is stamped V0818CGP. Since these components are all from the same car, I don't want to split them up. These came from the same car as the radiator and fan I sold you.

I remember talking to you about your engine out of that 1971 Z28. It is out of a Van Nuys built 1971 z28 and has the VIN# up on the front pad. I have an early built 1971 Norwood built Z28 and the car has the complete original drivetrain including original CGP engine, M22 and 4:10 rear. I am looking for an August 70 CGP block from an early built Norwood built car with no vin# stamp on the front pad. If I can find a replacement block I want use the replacement block in my car in place of my original and keep the original on a stand.
