what throttle cable for ls1 in a 79?

    I guess it appears the 36" might be too short. I may have to do that.

    for those of you running the cable off an F-body, make sure you get the cable for a non ASR-TCS (traction controlled) car as the 2 cables are totally different

    For mine, I used a factory throttle cable from a 2001 Silverado, i just have to slightly modify the factory LS1 throttle cable bracket and then crimp a cable stop onto the cable at the pedal. I used my scan tool to get it in just the right spot where there is absolutely no delay in opening the throttle, and it gave me excellent throttle response.
