He refused to leave, he deserved to be dragged off.....
And now he wants to sue.....
I'd love to see a counter suit by United.
They can document real damages that were totally the fault of Dr. Dao's illegal actions.
I don't think they'll do it, because the mainstream media would go berserk. It's tough for a large corporation to win the media battle because of the inherent bias. The media has done a "great" job of making Dao out to be a victim, when actually he was the perpetrator.
I don't buy the whole broken nose/concussion story. It's certainly possible he broke a tooth when he decided to go limp and faceplant the seat with his 69-year-old choppers. He's still a creepy bastard.
United now requires the crew to be checked in (1) hour prior to take off and no longer can security or Police physically remove passengers anymore . it is now done by the flight crew and now in a non aggressive way
Delta airlines new policy after United airlines media nightmare
Unfortunately, nobody reads the fine print. Nobody on the jury of the lawsuit reads the fine print. Most people on the jury has probably been inconvenienced by the tsa, and any number of airlines weather it was a delay, cancellation or being bumped. So if this goes to court, United's lawyers know they are fighting a uphill battle with little to no chance of winning. So they will settle it out of court, chalk it up to operating expenses and put it behind them, hoping congress doesn't make too many rule changes to hurt the airlines industries bottom line.
It's just the way it goes right or wrong. Jim
And to recover the extortion money paid to the guy and his lawyer, the airlines will raise prices or cut corners to get paid back. Not good for anyone except the "victims" and ambulance chasers.
there's a jury already lmao
The trial should be on an airplane with the original people on the plane as the jury
United not having a good week....
