whats the quietest muffler

    I'm thinking that you could run the pipes and muffs tighter to the body if they are stainless because of the superior heat retention. My .02

    Is stainless way harder to weld then regular aluminized pipe???

    I really like the stock 70 Z28 dual exhaust/single muffler!

    I have to agree that the stock system is packaged well...........But...the flattened pipes and congested muffler..........Not So Much.

    Maybe so...but I never had any problems with it.

    stock transverse set up will choke the motor of making any decent power

    back in the mid/late 70's i was running 3" pipe with cyclone calif sonic turbos and behind a 450plus hp 427bbc it ran very well
