Umm. If we knew a little about the application we might be able to help. Car, box, pump, what the problem was with the stock hose....

    Year of the Camaro too.
In 79 or 80 (Don't remember which) the fittings changed.

I Have A 1981 Camaro. Im Using A Ls1 Power Steering Pump And The Gear Box Is Stock One Out Of A 81 Camaro. The Issue Im Having Is That The Hose Is Too Long.

    Fbody LS1?? Or Corvette LS1??

I had a Camaro LS1 stock hose and pump on my 71 Camaro with a later gearbox and it fit fine. Had to tweak the hose a bit

If that's the only issue I'd take it to local shop that does hydraulic hoses and have them shorten it.

I used a 2001 Silverado hose from Napa. I bent it a little here and there but it fit nicely. Definitely not too long. If it was any shorter it wouldn't have worked. I'm using a truck pump, I'm not sure if it will work as well with the Ls1 pump.
