I'm seriously considering a wide band o2 sensor/guage kit to help me with my carb tuning. I want to set it up so it can be easily transferred between my cars and friends cars... I don't need data logging or anything too fancy. So what's good right now? I'd like to keep it under $200. Thanks!
I am running an autometer sport comp (What the rest of my gauges are) and love it. I do not know what the price is on it now though. I have mine as a 'mildly quick disconnect'. It is currently in my chicks Mustang and will need to go into my Jeep ASAP.
I s ee some kits that are just a gauge and a sensor and some that have wide band o2 sensor controllers.... What's the deal?
They are all The rage now!,besides efi carbs. The Aem is good deal at around 200 and good rep. I got the auto meter digital,it's ben rock solid 3 yrs now.It can be annoying at times flashing around ,I moved mine outta view some
Everyone I know who's serious runs the AEM setup http://www.aemelectronics.com/?q=pr...ies-wideband-uego-afr-sensor-controller-gauge It's supposed to be the quickest and most accurate
do you just put an o2 sensor in 1 side even if you have dual exhaust like pretty much everyone? Or do you have to run 2 guages/sensors
http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/products/dlg1.php put this in mine . monitors both banks well worth the money IMHO having 2 is kinda overkill but that's my nature lol . but does make diagnosis easier (which side of motor) if you have a cylinder not quite up to par or plug issues etc.
