I have ZERO IDEA if I will have this same issue you just experienced or not with my T-56.
Sadly, buying used they know it will take you some time to get it running......

I have tried looking up T-56 rebuild threads, but to me they aren't complete enough for me to feel confident.
I wish Boxnet would make one.....but they haven't yet.

I would honestly just have Tick Performance do it during the winter season.
They usually run specials for the work slow down period.

Just want to give a shout out to Brims Auto Salvage in Kenton, Ohio. I just got back from there, and they gave me another tranny, and don't want the old one back. They didn't have to do this for me, but I am very grateful.

Sweet. Sell it as a core or hold it and have it beefed up when time & money allow. I have a core on my shelf and I plan to have it built and then I'll sell the one in my car now to pay for it

I use bob hanlon at hanlon motorsports for my t56 parts and service.

Yeah but make sure you at least have that replacement tranny gone trew before you install it!!! Best to resolve any issues before it goes into the car!! At best there is nothing wrong, hey worst case senario you find something minor fix it & it doesn't cause bigger problems!! (JUST A THOUGHT) Better safe then sorry!!!!!
