    Lol...not sure why people say that. I know the title on my 1970 says "1970"

    They say it cuz the 2nd gen came out late (Feb of 1970) due to production issues - Fast forward to the 5th Gen and GM release's the 2010 in April of 2009. This will make it just as confusing for those classics in the future but it was kinda nice having a new car for two years!

    Yeah....we all know. The question is why does a release date have anything to do with the year of the model. The 2010 Camaro is still a 2010 Camaro...is it a "2010 Really 09" Camaro....its just silly. Its a 1970 model no matter how you skin the cat and the 2010 is a 2010.

    Blame the 70-1/2 wording on the people working for the magazines. They don't know any better.
