Like title says looking for a rust free roller or just rolling shell. I have everything I need to restore my 76 rs except for a good rust free rolling shell.

no I have an 80 z with 62,000 on it, I need a 75-77 to fix my 76 rs that I have had since I was 16. Minnesota is hard on cars (rust) just need a good shell to start with. thanks for offer though.

How does a 75-77 shell differ from a 78-81 shell, aside from the rear tails?

If he's looking for a no rust shell, chances are he's not wanting to weld. The 78-81 shells would require modification. I had the chance to buy a rust free 79 with a slightly wrecked front end for $400. I wish I would have bought it.

but am I correct in that the only difference between the two shells are the rear tail light supports? I know the 1/4 panels are the same for 75-81, for instance.

that's the biggest difference other than that just minor things but yea don't feel like hacking the rear tail out of it and not sure if bumper area is same or not
