I am looking for a clean split bumper for a weekend driver.

I am not mechanical so I need the car to be ready to drive.

Well, I just put a hold on a Camaro this morning until I can get things worked out at the Bank on Monday. Got it for $24,500.

I want to thank everyone for the help in answering questions. Especially 72BIGBLOCK. Really appreciate the support of this forum!

72 Camaro with a LS 5.3L and 4L60E automatic with overdrive, AC etc. There are a few things I need to change but I think it is a good starting point.

Perfect example of how fugly the 72-73 grill looks compared to 70-71
especially with you choose to do a FAUX R/S.

I would install 70-71 black grill and re-install the one piece bumper.

The important thing is you are happy with it. Like someone mentioned, its not a true RS and not even a SS or Z28. That's a base model car with RS bumperettes, but I agree looks solid. Even though I think you paid too much for it seeing the suspension and interior condition, a LS swap (even though it's just a 5.3 truck engine), sometimes it already being done is worth it.

If I were you, I would fix the fuel lines were the filter/regulator is. I see rubber and hose clamps. You will likely see a leak there sooner than later.

That grade report is written by who? The pictures alone show it's not show room restored.

Yes, I am aware that it is not an original RS, that only takes a quick glance to notice the lights. I also agree on the grille. I have already ordered a replacement grille from FBody. I hate the emblems and will be replacing those soon.

I wanted a driver and the LS fit with my needs.
