    Thanks COPO.

I should be able to finish up the backend on Wednesday and then move onto the interior or the front end, haven't decided which one to do yet.

Light sanding and a buff job will fix the run in the clear.. and having done it yourself you saved a CRAP load of money, and now, you have the satisfaction of saying YOU did it... Thats one sharp car!

Thanks Scott, the run is on the left front fender by the side marker. It should be a simple fix, now I just need some sandpaper and a buffer. Probably do it after I put the front end stuff back on.

    Sprink,

I looks like a glitter bomb went off. All that matters to me is the wife really likes the color.

I can't get a picture that really shows how much metallic is actually in this paint, but it's a bunch.

    Fleet,

    Thanks.

It does feel pretty good, just wish I was driving it already, but I WILL be driving it this year :)

Finally blew up that dang kidney stone yesterday  so today I got a few things done. Doesn't look like a whole bunch but at least it's something.

All the side markers are on, passenger door handle and lock stuff all in

Got almost all the front end stuff back on, still working on the hood latch and missing a few of the headlight trim screw doodads

    Question,
Has anyone put in new door latches and had a hard time using the key to unlock it? If so does it loosen up over time?

I have lubricated the crap out of the latch and it still is hard to turn the key, I don't want to snap the key off.

I figured out my problem with the locking.

The latch actually works really good, it's the piece that you pull up or push down in order to lock the latch. I replaced the worn out plastic bushings that hold the rod to the door and the new ones are really tight on that rod. With that rod bushing so tight it won't allow the key to unlock or lock the door latch.

No pictures of today's fun. Just putting all the window channel, weatherstrip, and other door stuff back on.
