I don't drive my car much but having issues with the rpms staying high while driving or shifting. I can get the rpms down by just padding the gas pedal quickly. Any ideas?
COPO, I did go through your site and i did clean with compressed air and oiled the old needle/seat but still had problem. That's why i called the Eric that restored my carburetor and he explained what was going on.

OK I've removed the needle and seats from both front and back of the Carb and blew compressed air into them. Car started right up but started running rough. Had fuel coming out the the top back area of the carb under the air cleaner. I have the floats adjusted so there is maybe 1 thread...
ok, just got done blowing out my needle and seat and reinstalled the baffle as per COPO pic and installed bowl. Will test tomorrow. again thanks for the help!!
