Pretty sure I'm going to pic this up. Only thing that scares me a bit is the dash has been removed so lots of fun wiring. Is $4500 fair or should I negotiate a bit. I would go thru the entire car like I did on my last one, hopefully not paint but interior and pulling the motor and redoing...
In retrospect I wish I would have figured out a way to fit the BB under a stock hood or a shorter cowl hood. One thing I must say I love about the BB is the right here, right now, right off idle grunt!
Thanks Billy. I think I'll stick with a 78-81 since I know them so well now. Next one prefferable a 4 speed and more or a driver with AC and NOT 4.11s. Something more like a resto mod or build something into one

Had the same issue, 17x8 up front with a 50 series so probably same overall size as you.
What I did was first mark where the rubbing was occuring and then trim out the inner wheel well accordingly using a body saw and then roll the fender, then relocate the 1 o'clock bolt back about 6 inches, to...
Just my 2 cents but you could sell those and get really good money for them and have enough and then some to buy some wheels that are more appropriate for our cars. Those just don't look right....maybe just a bad picture. It's a real delicate balance putting newer model wheels on an older gen...
