instaaled the crane adjustable can today also swaped out springs a blue and silver( 800-2800) in my proform hei had the base timing on 8 degees brought the engine up to 3+ grand and adjusted the timing to 36 degrees . brought it back down to idle and checked where my base was? it was on 3...

has anybody installad a pm ministarter on a big block?? i put one in and cant seem to get it to alighn.. have six shims in already and need more, pinion gear is hitting the ring gear.how many shims are to many?? have a 168 tooth flex plate..stock starter had no problems with this
