    Frame Measurements

from the floor up are just hypothetical measures unless you sit the car the way they have the diagram and thats almost impossible. What you want is simply the difference between measures to see if your OK for example if you look at the rear frame you see the following : X=6 , B-19 , 17 1/8 (I...

    Frame Measurements

If you think about it.... If you measure between the rails and the 37" measurement and the height difference from the floor to the frame where the shock goes and the height from floor to rear rail ( like in the diagrams ) If those match up, your frame hasnt moved and your good to go... there's...

    Project Mess

With the quarter where I wanted it and screwed in place, I fitted the inner fender well piece and marked where it needed to be cut. Confirming my suspicions that it was the aftermarket piece and not misalignment of my other parts, I found that there was only about a 3/16 thick part, right in the...

    Project Mess

The next step is to piece together the outer fenderwell as the aftermarket panel had the wrong curvature in it and I had to cut it in two.

    Project Mess

Okay update time... test fit #12 364 seems to be ok, so the rear filler panel between the tail lights has been welded in. I brought it over to a shop close to me and had the inside sand blasted. It cost $30... I have a sandblaster but sadly my compressor cant keep up with it and 30$ wasnt going...

    Frame Measurements

I ran into the same problem, I have a 76 and I measured from the center to center of the top rear shackle bolts, fortunately I got the 47 1/8" as my rails were original and mint... I then matched up that measure to the diagram that had it and went with that one for the rest of the measurements...

    70 Camaro Horn Not Working

the metal pieces you see without the cover on, they must touch one another to complete the circuit to make the horn work. If you press one to the other with the cover off, the horn works right ? the problem is the cover when pushed on doesnt push down far enough to make the two metal pieces...

    AC Condensor

After looking all over I guess I'll just build my own brackets as I want the sanden 508 mounted on the passenger side so the hoses are shorter and better looking. This means the alternator has to mount on the drivers side...as I dont like the idea of bolting a bracket onto the exhaust manifold...

    AC Condensor

I bit the bullet and bought a chrome sanden 508 knock off What I want to do is mount it on the passenger side and switch my alternator to the drivers side, that way I can install my condensor with the outlets on the passenger side and have a lot cleaner and shorter hoses/lines that dont cross...

    AC Condensor

Just read that link to the thread and saw the pics, I dont like the allen grove brackets, the way it sticks up high like that, I want something more snug to the engine block that blends in and doesnt look like an added on after thought...I like the look of the pancake compressors in the thread...

I want aware until you informed me of the A6 compressor leak so I'm thinking about switching compressors but I dont want to invest 500$ in a new one. I was looking at the sanden 508 knock offs on ebay that you can get chrome plated for 140$ but I dont know if theyre any good or not...

When / how could I install some Sfc...?

I'll try to explain my reasoning, I may be right, I may be wrong, everyone has their thoughts and the whole idea when you ask questions is to get as many thoughts and ideas on a subject as possible and then make a decision for yourself on what to do. When a car is on its tires, there are...
