I'd go with something between 220-230 duration. The EPS 222/226 would be my choice.

I'll take a stab at it. From some quick searching looks like that Caddy version of the LT1 is rated at 260 hp and I'm assuming it's got iron heads...

Drop base air cleaner fit my LQ4 under my stock 81Z air induction hood but I had to enlarge the hole in the hood. No way it would work with a flat...

Yeah I hear you on the money. Pretty hard for me do justify the cost of some drag radials right now especially with winter here.
And the quest for 10s begins. I would have tried a better tire first but then again, I hate pulling out front springs, then getting an alignment, etc.

My cam specs are:
228/232 @ .050
.600/.600 lift with stock 1.7 rockers
This cam loves a converter and 11:1 + compresion....
My brakes suck and my cam pulls 12" of vacuum as well. I have Baer track 13" front and 12" rear (basically c4 vette). Maybe I need a hydroboost too.
Yeah after some web surfing it looks like 15s will be a challenge. I may have to go with 16s.
I'm using the fbody pan on my 6.0 swap and it fits perfect.
