Here's what the barrel valve configuration looks like...there's a plate under the hat with 2 nozzles pointing straight down,like a showerhead. These things would burn a lot of pistons before they figured out to mount the nozzles outside of the hat.

Bought a NOS Enderle Showerhead for absolutely no reason,lol...they're super rare and this one has never been used.

In case you haven't noticed Costco started selling their own synthetic oil, it's probably an Mobil 1 offshoot. Kirkland Signature Motor Oil | Costco I use all Amsoil in the diesel and Lucas Nitro 70 in the dragster...and that stuff get's dumped after 2-4 fire-ups...talk about expensive!

I speak to Tommy on FB, friends with them both as well as Gordo in FL...both have growing families.
