When I looked at the '73 electrical diagram I noticed two wires on the horn relay are labeled thermo wires. Thermo meaning fuse link? [IMG]
I wonder if the lower orange(?) wire is a fuse link.
Speaking as a plumber if a check valve was installed on a venting system not only would it not work a inspector would fail it on the spot.
I have to agree on making sure it's warmed up, mine does the same if I accidentally kick the choke off.
