I've only made one set of headers in my life, they were 4-2-1 & I think they would be easier than 4-1. Easier to fit ,less tubing involved.
I forgot you got those. Ed used them on his wheel standing Chevelle. Swore by em.
You should pick up a set of those 4-2-1 headers, then you could test another thing. Cause inquiring minds want to know.:bowtie:

I've done a couple 200's & 350's they never had the screens when I took them apart, so the didn't get any.
You can try the maker method & trying different PR lengths till you find the narrowest pattern.

Exactly should have said fiddle string tight. Yes you need rise at movement of the throttle.
The cable has to be tight at WOT, if the geometry is right that's the only way to do it.
Do you have the correct geometry on the carb for the TV cable?
