Those look like duals off of a Class 8 diesel truck. Not the same. Axle shafts don’t hold the wheels on.
Maybe the spindle nuts came loose and the hub came off. Trying to figure out how the duals were still attached to each other.
My friend owned that car before that picture was taken. It is a genuine survivor car.
