Goodyear? Maybe Goodmark? Factory has a gm number on it, No goodyear or goodmark that I know of.

That looks like oil to me, Stick your finger in the pipe and see if it has oil in it.
Summit sells a vac pump just for this.
All I use now is Liquid Glass on my Camaro and Vette, Love the stuff.

The only thing I have against a drop base is you lose a lot of air intake, with a 3 inch filter I bet the distance fron the choke horn and the top...
