When I looked at the '73 electrical diagram I noticed two wires on the horn relay are labeled thermo wires. Thermo meaning fuse link?
I wonder if the lower orange(?) wire is a fuse link.
Speaking as a plumber if a check valve was installed on a venting system not only would it not work a inspector would fail it on the spot.
