    Energy suspension bushings

I just calculated shipping and it will end up costing you more money than if you just ordered the stuff directly.

    Energy suspension bushings

These are from the master set 3-18116. I got this set about 14 or 15 years ago because there was nothing available for my '80 model. I used what fit my car and held onto the rest because it was one of those 'someday I'll mod stuff and make it fit' situations. Well I sold the car 4 years ago...

    Metro weatherstrip and my rant

I can't close my door either. I gave it one real good slam and it finally closed. I don't want to do that from here on out. I hope it compresses.

    Metro weatherstrip and my rant

Save your money....you'd have more fun smoking your hundreds. About 2 years ago I bought some of this stuff from a company. Today I went to put it on the car. The t-top molding is no where near the correct size. It doesn't fill the gap completely so now I have to fill it with some 3M...

    Power locks with painless harness

I'm trying to figure out why I can't get my power locks to work. I have the painless harness and I wired them up almost exactly as it was from factory minus the relay (I don't know if it ever had one). Here is what I can't understand. Neither one of the locks will work but I have power to...

viper srt 10 ram motor in 81 z28

It should fit with no problem. Go ahead and get started. Chrysler actually made that engine to fit into an 81 Camaro and someone told me they used yours as the test bed.

Suspension and brake differences for different years?

Here is the front steering rebuild kit from Hotchkis http://www.summitracing.com/parts/HSS-CHESTR018/Application/?prefilter=1 Here is a brake rotor http://www.jegs.com/i/Roto-tech/822/EP-5519-L/10002/-1?parentProductId=757926 Now I know the brakes have Metric inlets...but is the mounting...

Suspension and brake differences for different years?

Everything in Summit and Jegs for the Camaro is for the older years. Weather it be suspension or brakes. The Hotchkis suspension upgrade only goes up to 74 and I saw rotors for up to 78. I thought all the rotors were the same. My car is an 80 and basically, what stuff will bolt onto the...

Question on getting correct pushrod length

And then again some people do. Considering that a rocker stud is 24tpi that means one turn is about .041". If I preload using half a turn that would be around .021". So if I use checking springs that don't apply enough pressure to collapse the lifter I need to add .021 to my measurement.

Question on getting correct pushrod length

I got a set of adjustable pushrods, some checking springs and the little proform dohickey to check for proper length. First thing is that I think I wasted money on the proform tool. I put that on the stud and according to the instructions the stock pushrod is too short. However, with the...

    POR-15 Question and Answer Section

One of the things I liked about the POR is that when you brush it on something it selflevels and the brush marks go away. I have one of the goodmark cowl hoods that was never painted when I got it so all the primer turned to surface rust. So I brushed the entire hood with the stuff and it left...

    Ignition box wire gauge?

I grabbed this from he instruction manual on their site. "GENERAL WIRING INFORMATION Wire Length: All of the wires of the MSD Ignition may be shortened as long as quality connectors are used or soldered in place. To lengthen the wires, use one size bigger gauge wire (12 gauge for the power...

    Follow that drunk?

Well I don't see how someone in shock would drive 10 miles anyway. Going as slow as you said he was you'd think he'd stop the truck if he felt symptoms. Anywho....I've called the troopers before on people driving like they were drunk...nothing ever came of it even after following the guy for...
