A few more updates with pics

Ok I have mine set fully soft both front and rear, but I have Ranchos. That seems to be the only way for me to hook consistantly on different tracks, even though it goes a tiny bit faster if 1 or 2 clicks stiffer in the back. I'll keep hearing that coilovers don't work good enough with...

What can I do with these parts?

Maybe it's best to go big block and keep it real steel. I´m not sure I will be entirely happy with a plastic car. Steel is the real deal.

What can I do with these parts?

If I get a new shortblock it would be a dart block, and then it wouldn't be anything wrong with a 434? The only fiberglass part I have right now is the hood, would I really save 300 pounds by changing to fiberglass doors with lexan windows, trunk, front fenders, bumpers and the frontend?

What can I do with these parts?

What can I do with out of the box Dart pro1 230cc/64cc heads, world motown intake and a prosystems 950 hp carb? All these parts are relatively new but sits on top of an old 406 shortblock, probably in need of restoration. I've managed a 6.68 on the 1/8th mile in a 3300 lbs car. But wanna go...

Does it matter if I switch places on the metering plates ex. secondary to primary? Are there any difference in the construction?

    weird carb setup?

The front plate was a plugged metering block with 90 jets. The rear has a 6.5 power valve with 96 jets. My plugs are not wet but they tends to be sooty real easy, so I've tried to avoid all unnecessary idling. I'm thinking of getting an wideband lambda. Is there any difference of...

    weird carb setup?

I have a 406 sbc with a Holley 850 dp. I was curious which jet sizes I had and if the power valves were plugged. It looked like this: Primary jet size 90, no power valve but there was no plug either. Is it possible to run without either pv or plug? Secondary jet size 96, a power valve...

How to upgrade this 406 small block?

Is it a bad thing to get lower compression, would'nt it be worse getting to high compression? Or does higher compression always mean more horsepower? Is there other things I would need to keep in mind, when changing heads like carb jetting etc?

How to upgrade this 406 small block?

I found this on Hot Rod's website: The heads are the same casting as Dart's 215cc Pro 1 aluminum heads, but with an in-house CNC porting program that brings the intake port to a 227cc volume and the exhaust to 85cc (PN 11970040). Advertised flow numbers are included in the sidebar, peaking at...

How to upgrade this 406 small block?

ok, what will happen if I change to a larger combustion chamber? So the dart pro1 cnc are the best choice of the above heads? How much hp can I expect to get as most if I start from scratch with the cnc heads and my rockers? Or would it be a better choice going with a big block? Say a 700...
