Carb tuning stuff plus lots of little extras...

Well guys, the Z28 is long gone, but look what I found... I have a mostly complete jet kit (67's / 80's missing, extras of others). Lots of misc power valves - mostly higher vacuum ones. Several power valve cams. 4 hole Holley spacer - aluminum (nice one). 4 hole qjet spacer...

    Sharkbite plumbing fittings.

Personally, nay. I installed one and tweaked the seal --- it leaked due to MY error. Even though it was my fault, and I've used them successfully in accessible areas, I would not close one into a wall. My contractor buddies swear by them though.

Sitting in Abu Dhabi...On My Birthday No Less!

Happy B-day! I liked the UAE - but I was mainly in Dubai. Lots to do. Lots to see. Interesting mix of people, too. I even liked the food more than I expected. We had a blast walking around the old markets. We did stick out a little bit in the old markets. We blended right in at the big tourist...

Roll control (line lock), Air Fuel meter...

Edelbrock Air Fuel Meter. I used this narrow band O2 meter for a while. It's a good lean / rich indicator. I have the meter, the used O2 sensor, and the wiring harness. You'll need to buy a new bung for the the O2 sensor (available at summit racing, jegs, etc...). The wires were cut when I...

    Neat idea for sleeper?

+1. The best sleepers I've come across looked like something your typical soccer mom would drive. They didn't stick out at all. The had plain wheels. They had quiet exhausts. When I was in high school, the legendary sleeper of our area was on old simple station wagon.

    Powder Coating Guys

Well, I just finished setting up an old kitchen oven in my garage. After de-greasing and blasting the parts, my plan is to cook the parts at about 20° over the cure temp for about 20 minutes after the pieces stop smoking / visibly out gassing. Then, I'll degrease again, coat them, and cook them...

    Powder Coating Guys

Yes, LayZ - that is the stuff I was thinking of. Thanks for the feedback. This is my first attempt at cast aluminum. I am planning on cooking this thing for at least 30 minutes first --- or until it stops smoking, plus another 10 minutes or so. Fortunately I have a spare cover to experiment...
