Thanks! That one looks like it has two tabs on the one side and maybe the other side too. Mine only has one on each side. I have all the parts to rebuild one like new. I may need to see if someone has one for sale and start from scratch.

The steering shaft on my 73 is like alot of items that was on this car when acquired. Seem to be orphan pieces here and there. The steering shaft cover as I call it that covers the bearings is not one with a spring on it. Not one i have seen before. It may be from a later second gen? or...

I know I have no room to talk but it's 64 right now but by tomorrow night it's supposed to be 27 in Central FL. We are expecting wind chills in the teens. We just get hurricanes instead. 😅

Good info! I had to replace the same panel as mine was all mangled up and rust. I have mine locked in my safe until I can buy the rivets.

Here is a pic...has a floating washer and 23 stamped on top. But the tip of the bolt is key to getting them easily started and thread into the mounting plate.

My 73 was missing over half of its door hinge bolts. Looked at repos and even AMK. Some of the reviews online have indicated issues. I would like to have some originals I can clean up and reuse if anyone has extras in their "bolt bucket". Please let me know. Thanks, Mike
